In 2008 Graduate assistant in anthropology with a concentration in Mesoamerican linguistics, Vanderbilt University, Nashville, TN, under the supervision of Drs. Pierre Colas and Sergio Romero.

2003-2007 B.A. in Anthropology, Minor in History, University of Mississippi, Oxford, MS. Graduated cum laude.

RESEARCH AND FIELDWORK

2006 Demographic study of St. Peter’s Cemetery, Oxford, MS. Conducted under Dr. Gabriel Wrobel, Dept. of Sociology and Anthropology.

2006 Research on ritual significance and use of caves in the Maya area, including cave modification and architectural cave modeling. Conducted with Dr. Edward Sisson, Dept. of Sociology and Anthropology, under supervision of Dr. John Samonds, Sally McDonnell Barksdale Honors College.

2005 Fieldwork in bioarchaeology at Caves Branch Rockshelter, Caves Branch, Belize, under the supervision of Dr. Gabriel Wrobel, Dept. of Sociology and Anthropology, and Dr. Jaime Awe, Director of the Institute of Archaeology, Belize.
